This weeks feature bloggers are:  We Fancy Books & The Little Book Blog   This weeks question:   What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?    Hmm, that's a touch question.. There are so many amazing books out there that would make INCREDIBLE movies!!  I'd love to see Andy McDermott 's Nina & Eddie series made into movies - they are so much fun and full of history and action. I'd love to see Skye O'Malley by Bertrice Small made into a movie!! It is a historical romance and might be a bit difficult because of some of the content - but she is such an incredible character and the story is so amazing.  All of Bertrice's books are amazing - any of them would make great movies. Another book I'd love to see as a movie would be the The Alchemyst (the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel) by Michael Scott .  Su...

Hosted by Crazy For Books Highlight one book you have received this week (for review, from the library, purchased at the store, etc.) that you can’t wait to dig into! Oh there are a few actually!! I got a couple from NetGalley the other day that I am super pumped about reading!! 1.  Unclaimed by Courtney Milan - had a squeeee moment when I saw this one come up on the list! 2.  All About Seduction by Katy Madison - oh another squeeee moment! 3.  Turnabout's Fair Play by Kaye Dacus - 3rd book in an awesome series which I'm excited about getting into!  The other two books were amazing! ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Let's step away from books for a second and get personal. What T-Shirt slogan best describes you? Well - Grumpy in the Morning - is a good description according to my other half.  I'm not the best morning person at least until I've had a cup of coffee! I think the best one would be - Would Rather Be Reading - it's the best way to describe me LOL! ...

This week instead of answering a question we were asked to promote a giveaway from another blog!     Kati from Romancing Rakes has a great giveaway going on!! As part of the blog tour for Vicky Dreiling's new release - How to Seduce A Scoundrel!!  Make sure to go on over and check it out!!  Giveaway is open from July 8th to the 15th!  Open to Canadian & US residents.         What is the worst book that you've read and actually finished? That's actually a tough one!  I enjoy most books and ones I hate/didn't finish are few and far between!  I'm pretty particular about what books I pick up to read. The last book I didn't like was "Brisignr" by Christopher Paolini - but I didn't finish it!   -~-

What book-to-movie adaption have you most liked?  Which have you disliked?  Hmm... I have to say I haven't really found as of yet a book to movie adaptation that I haven't liked.  I was on the fence about a few, but didn't hate them per say. I really really loved Little Women, I have to say it's one of my favorites. How many books do you read in a week? And in what format do you read them, or listen to them? I read anywhere from 2 to 6 books a week. I like to mix it up a bit, I read e-books on my Kobo, paperbacks, hardcovers.. Sometimes audio books, but that's not quite as often.

Do you have anyone that you can discuss books with IRL? Tell us about him/her I have a few people that I talk to about book with in IRL.  My BFF Chrystal (from Snowdrop Dreams of Books ), my Mom and my wonderful hubby!  I probably talk to Chrystal the most about books, since we're both into book blogging!  We may not always have the same taste in books, but neither of us are afraid to try something new!  It's always great to have someone to talk about a new book! **************************************** Pick a character from a book you are currently reading or have just finished and tell us about him/her I finished reading Once Upon A Scandal by Delilah Marvelle yesterday, one of the  main character is Lady Victoria Jane Emerson.  She is deeply in love with Jonathon, Viscount Remington.  Poor Victoria loses a lot of people in her life, including Jonathon. They are reunited by a twist of fate, and after a few rough patches and so...

Do you judge a book by it's cover? Yes I think I unfortunately do.  If a book has a great cover I'm definitely more likely to pick it up. I probably miss out on a lot of great books because of it, and a bad habit I'm going to have to break! *************** To follow later!

Since today is April Fool's Day in the USA, what is the best prank you have ever played on someone OR that someone has played on you? I'm in Canada, and we also celebrate April Fool's Day.. The best prank I have ever played was on the guys I work with.  Some of them aren't so tech savy.  So I put a professional looking poster above the printer/fax/photocopier that said: "This machine is now voice activated.  Please speak loudly and clearly." It was pretty funny watching the guys yell at the printer for most of the day! ****************** What is the book that you really don't want to admit to loving?? Hmmm.... I don't think there really is one!

Inspired by the inane twitter trend of #100factsaboutme, give us five BOOK RELATED facts about you 5 to 8 books at once.  I don't know why, but I've always been like that! I've been reading since I was 3 - my Grandfather and I learned to read together. I LOVE historical romance novels - I'm addicted to them. I have hundreds of books, I hate getting rid of them. I always carry at least one book or my ereader in my purse. ****************************    "If you could physically put yourself into a book or series…which one would it be and why?"   I think it would be Casting Spells & Laced by Magic by Barbara Bretton.  I would love to have the endless supplie of beautiful roving and the yarn store that Chloe has in the series.

What embarrassing thing have you done on cold medicine? I haven't done anything seriously embarrasing... Maybe just wearing it on my shirt and wearing that said shirt to work!  Trying not to doze off at my desk while on cold medicinie.. *************** Who's your all-time favorite book villain? Hmm.. that's a tough one.  I have to say my favorite villain is from " The Hunt for Atlantis " by Andy McDermott .  He's a great villian, so I'm not going to name names because it might spoil it for someone else!  He's not revealed until later in the story.

Do you ever wish you would have named your blog something different? Sometimes.  I originally picked my blog name when it was all about knitting, crochet and crafts.  I've kept it the same since I added books and cooking to my blog. I might change it one day... ************************************************* Share your current fav television show! Tell us a bit about it...   Hmmmm, that's hard to narrow down!  I have a few favorite shows right now!  Castle, Bones, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Glee, House, Fringe, Stargate Universe, Sanctuary, Smallville... If I had to narrow it down to JUST ONE it would be:   Castle - Author Rick Castle teams up with police officer Kate Beckett to solve some pretty gruesome crimes.  Kate is Rick's 'muse' for his new "Heat" series. This show is pretty darn funny, both Mike (my hubby) and I love this show!

What is your favorite romance hero-type? Stereotype wise. Do you like the strong silent type or the brute macho man? I'm partial to the Knight in Shining armour hero.  Who wisks in and saves the day and the girl! I love a strong silent type!  (Kinda reminds me of my hubby - he's the strong silent type!) =) Tell us about one of your posts from this week and give us a link so we can read it (review or otherwise)! Well it's been a pretty exciting week!  My BFF Chrystal from Snowdrop Dreams of Books and I have been hosting an event called Romance Week.  I don't have one favorite post, we've had some great interviews and a few more to come before the 14th!

"What are you reading now and why are you reading it?" I'm currently reading Deadly Vows by Brenda Joyce. I picked this book up through NetGalley for review, so far it's pretty darn good. What is the book you are currently 'pushing'? (Pushing mean trying to get people to read it) Hmm, that's tough.. I have a huge list of books that I recommend to friends and family.  I got my Mom hooked on the Andy McDermott series and the Hetar Series by Bertrice Small.   I also have recommended the Fever Series by KMM to a few friends.. and Annette Blair.
