Author Spotlight was inspired by Book SoulmatesMonth of Indie Epicness” Event they hosted in April 2012.
Author Spotlight is a once a month showcase of my current favorite Indie Author.

About the Author:

My husband and I live outside Atlanta, Georgia, with our two children and two dogs.  I have a journalism degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and I’m a member of Atlanta Writers Club, the Romance Writers of America, Georgia Romance Writers and the Women’s Fiction Chapter of Romance Writers of America.  I’ve been writing seriously since 2004 and made the decision to indie publish in 2011.

Many people have helped me along my path to publication including my wonderful critique partners Laura Butler, Susan Sands, Tracy Solheim, Kate Bowman and Lourdes Esquilin.  I’ve had valuable input from professional editors Lisa Hazard (hazardediting.blogspot.com), Cassie Robertson, Susan Snowden, and Peter Gelfan.  My author photo was taken by my friend and talented photographer Jane Dowd (janedowdphotography.com).  My website was designed and is maintained by Lisa Bailey (www.lionstarcreativegroup.com).

Danny’s made a success of his building firm but is hesitant to participate in a flashy magazine spread. He’s dead-set against it when he realizes the journalist sent to interview him is the only woman he’s ever loved and lost.

Everything he thought was true about the past is a lie. When Danny discovers Kate still wears the heart shaped sea glass necklace he made for her years ago, they clear the air and their passion reignites. But Kate’s still keeping secrets to protect their fragile new relationship. With her family estranged and her career on the line, will she come clean before Danny finds out the truth and can Danny risk his heart again for the only woman he’s ever loved?
