Synopsis:

One Sweet Ride…

Oh yeah. A single look at the leggy blonde in the stands and Tucker Jenkins is ready to buck all night long. It’s time to forget all about his cheating ex and his usual hands off policy.

One Hot Night…

Becca Hart is an East Coast professor. Not a buckle bunny. But no degree can prepare her for the moves of the sexy bull rider she hooks up with at her first rodeo … Or the shock of finding him at her first Oklahoma State University staff meeting.

One Happy Ending…

Tuck knows it’s all about holding on, no matter how wild the ride. Now he just has to convince Becca that a rough start out of the chute doesn’t mean they aren’t a smokin’ combination …

Becca had no idea how much her life would change with one trip to OSU for a job interview.  Her sister convinces her to go to a rodeo the evening, to check out the cowboys and see some bull and bronc riding.

Tucker and Jace pluck the two sisters from their nose bleed seats and bring them down to watch the action up close and hang out with them when they aren’t riding.  Neither sister had any idea what to expect when they met these two and ended up with a night to remember!

After the move to Oklahoma, Becca is getting settled into her new apartment close to the OSU campus.  Her department is throwing a big party to welcome her and she has no idea she’s about to run into the one person she least expects.

Oh there are so many things about this story that I adored.  I loved Tuck, I’m a sucker for cowboys.  Especially one who is in the military – it’s something about the uniforms. Becca is smart, sexy and keeps Tuck on his toes.  These two together are fabulous and have of course have their issues to work out.

Would I recommend this book?  If you love cowboys, military men, love stories and happy endings then this book is for you.  I can’t wait for more by Cat!  Would I read more by this author?  Yes!

A Day in the Life of.. Anne Barton

Welcome to Stitch Read Cook's weekly feature!! A Day in the Life of..... This is where us bloggers & fans get a glimpse inside the days of our favorite authors!   -------------------- Anne Barton started swiping romances from her mom’s bookshelf as a teenager and decided historicals (with their balls, dukes, and gowns) were the best. So, when she had the chance to spend a semester in London she packed her bags—and promptly fell in love with the city, its history, and its pubs. She dreamed of writing romance, but somehow ended up a software analyst instead. Fortunately, a few years and a few careers later, Anne found her way back to writing the stories she loves and won the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart® for Regency Historical Romance. She lives in Maryland with her husband and three children, who try valiantly not to roll their eyes whenever she quotes Jane Austen. Her weaknesses include reality TV, cute-but-impractical shoes, and coffee. Lots and l...
