Adrianne Lee lives with her husband of many, many years on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Washington State in a pole barn building her husband transformed into an upstairs apartment with a shop below for his hot rods. Adrianne creates her stories on her laptop, in her recliner with her adopted cat, Spooky, curled between her calves, snoozing.  Over thirty years of summer vacationing in the Flat Head Lake area near Kalispell and Glacier Park has given her a love for all things Montana.

Let’s start with Adrienne….

What sets your book apart from all the others?  What makes it unique?

The setting. Kalispell is scenic eye-candy with air so fresh it will make you high, and good-looking hunky cowboys at every turn. And Molly McCoy’s Big Sky Pie shop is a place I wish existed. I want to go there, walk in the door, and immediately smell the DELICIOUS aromas. I want to sit in one of the booths and order a sampler plate of all the pies. I want to walk into that kitchen and find Molly and Jane and BiBi and Andrea, and drool over the men who love them.

What is the most memorable moment in your writing career so far?

The day my agent called to tell me that we’d sold the Big Sky Pie series. You see, I hadn’t sold a book since finding out our eldest daughter had advanced cervical cancer. When Kim was gone, I often felt like quitting, but Kim had wanted me to keep writing. I couldn’t let her down. I didn’t let her down.

Anna Sullivan was born and raised in southeastern Michigan, the seventh of nine children, whose claim to fame was reading five books a week in grade school. Needless to say, her obsession with the written word only grew from there-despite a short, and misguided, foray into the world of computer science (the "sensible" job path).
