It’s Time To Say Goodbye….

So Long.. Farewell

After almost 4 years of blogging, ‘meeting’ amazing writers, finding titles I would never have normally picked up and getting to chat with other readers/bloggers who love books as much as I do – I’ve decided it’s time to shut down Stitch Read Cook

Life over the last year has gotten really hectic – especially with work.  Along with a promotion I’ve picked up a great deal more work load.. which has lead to a lot less reading time in the evenings.  In the coming year things are going to get a lot more crazy busy…

I will finish up any tours/reviews that I owe over the next couple of weeks – as well I will continue to post some reviews on my GoodReads account.  I’ll miss my weekly feature “A Day in the Life of…” and “What’s Cooking?” and all the fantastic posts.

I’m going to miss everyone!!

Happy Blogging.

  1. I understand where you are coming from... I've been thinking about the same thing, but haven't been able to say that I for sure want to stop. I think it's a big step being able to say that it's time to say goodbye to blogging. You'll be missed on here, but thank goodness we are BFFs and will still be in touch all the time. ;)

A Day in the Life of… Stefanie Sloane (& Giveaway!)

Welcome to Stitch Read Cook's weekly feature!! A Day in the Life of..... This is where us bloggers & fans get a glimpse inside the days of our favorite authors! -------------------- A native Northwesterner with the pale skin to prove it, Stefanie Sloane credits her parents’ eclectic reading habits—not to mention their decision to live in the middle of nowhere—for her love of books. A childhood spent lost in the pages of countless novels led Stefanie to college, where she majored in English. No one was more surprised than Stefanie when she actually put her degree to use and landed a job in Amazon.com’s editorial department. She spent more than five years reading for a living before retiring to concentrate on her own stories. Stefanie Sloane lives with her family in Seattle.
