Dressing up the blog page..

I've been thinking I might dress up my blog page a bit..

How did you come up with your layout?  Did you use a tutorial?

  1. That's really hard. I read a lot of blogs, so get ideas from them. I like a clean look, but not sure I have achieved that. I simply use one of the blogger templates. I'm not tech savvy enough to do more than that, but I'm learning!

  2. Thecutestblogontheblock.com and shabbyblogs.com have nice back grounds. Then you have to use a template on blogger that concentrates everything in the middle. Both sites have ehaders that you can download and make your own as well. "Blogging for Bliss" covers this in detail. It helped me a lot.

Totally agree Jane, I like the clean look. Something is just missing with my blog.. I can't put my finger on it.

  4. I would love to help you make a header for your blog, if that's something that you want to change! Making a header is something that I really enjoy. Let me know!

Interview: Marie Claremont & Giveaway!

2011 Golden Heart winner Máire Claremont first fell in love with Mr. Rochester, not Mr. Darcy. Drawn to his dark snark, she longed to find a tortured hero of her own… until she realized the ramifications of Mr. Rochester locking his frst wife up in his attic. Discovering the errors of her ways, Máire now looks for a real-life Darcy and creates deliciously dark heroes on the page. Oh, and she wants everyone to know her name is pronounced Moira. Her parents just had to give her an Irish Gaelic name.
