Read Pink In Support of Breast Cancer!

My friend Chrystal told me about these great editions of books that were coming out in honor of Read Pink.  It's such a great thing - raising awareness about Breast Cancer and the amazing research that these books support.  Make sure to go on over to Penguin and check out these great books!

Penguin Group (USA) Presents READ PINK™—our second year dedicated to the fight against breast cancer—with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®

In our second year of the popular promotional and educational event, Penguin will offer an assortment of eight bestselling mass market titles by some of the company's most beloved female authors in a special Read Pink™ edition. The participating authors are Bertrice Small, Amanda Quick, Lynn Kurland, Catherine Anderson, Lauren Willig, Christina Dodd, Jillian Hunter, and Nora Roberts.

These special editions feature Read Pink™ seals on the cover and additional information in the back of the book underlining Penguin's support of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation's mission and urging readers to become actively involved in supporting the organization.

About READ PINK™
Read Pink™ was created by Penguin Group (USA) to recognize the contributions of those leading the fight against breast cancer. As one of the largest English-language trade book publishers in the world, we are committed to our readers who have shared in this struggle. According to BCRF, Penguin's 2010 Read Pink™ donation sponsored 500 hours of research time.
We invite our readers to join Penguin Group (USA) in spreading the word about The Breast Cancer Research Foundation by selecting a copy of these special editions.

Penguin Group (USA) is proud to donate $25,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation in support of its extraordinary progress in breast cancer research and awareness. Like last year's donation, Penguin's 2011 donation to BCRF is an absolute commitment of $25,000; it is not tied to the sales of Read Pink™ editions of Penguin's books.

Join the fight against this deadly disease by making your own donation to this organization today.

About The Breast Cancer Research Foundation

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation was founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder as an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical and translational research. In October 2011, BCRF will award $36.5 million to more than 185 scientists across the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and China. Currently, more than 90 cents of every dollar donated is directed to breast cancer research and awareness programs. With exceptionally low administrative costs, BCRF continues to be one of the most efficient organizations in the country. BCRF has received 4-stars from Charity Navigator and an "A+" from The American Institute of Philanthropy. For more information about BCRF, visit www.bcrfcure.org
