Warning:  You may want to wear oven mitts while reading this book – it’s HOT HOT HOT!

Marlene is not only talented in the kitchen, but she’s one hellva poker player.  She and best friend Olivia have worked side by side in Olivia’s family restaurant for years.  While Olivia went off to culinary school, Marlene stayed behind and learned all she could.  She helps out in any way possible to make the restaurant run smoothly, that is until she walks in on Olivia’s husband with another woman!  All hell breaks loose as he storms off and leaves everyone hanging.

Lucky for Olivia, chef Joe is in town and looking for something to kill some time.  Not only is he talented, he’s damn sexy and drives Marlene crazy.  These two are at each others throats both in and out of the kitchen.

This was such a fun read!  I loved the interaction between Joe and Marlene – they sizzled and almost set my e-reader on fire!  The author weaves together two of my favorite things – food and romance in an amazing combination that kept me glued from start to finish.  The story is spicy, with a hint of mystery – which suited me perfectly!

Will I recommend this book?  Most definitely!  Anyone who loves romance and anything food related will adore this book.  Will I read more by this author?  Yes!  I can’t wait to see what Amanda comes up with next.
