Synopsis:

Passionate, action-packed Regency romance by RT Reviewer’s Choice award-winning author Shana Galen features the swashbuckling Sebastien Harcourt, marquis de Valere, and the nautical genius heroine destined to best him.

After escaping France on a privateer’s ship, Sebastian becomes the notorious privateer Captain Cutlass. His reputation as a rogue precedes him and he’s undefeated in battle, until he crosses swords with the beautiful daughter of a British admiral. Raeven Russell is out for revenge, but now she’s not so sure she wants the dashing captain to change his wicked ways.

I've always loved a strong heroine, and with Raeven I wasn't disappointed!  She's spunky, independent, intelligent and isn't afraid to go for what she wants - whether is be for revenge or just for fun.  I have to say she's probably one of my favorite characters, she is unconventional and that kept me glued to this book from the first page.

Raeven is bent on revenge.  She wants nothing more then to get rid of the 'scum' who killed her beloved fiancee.  She hunts down the notorious Captain Cutlass and vows to do everything in her power to see him pay for the life he took.

Bastian (aka Cutlass) isn't what he appears to be, he keeps his true identity to himself - to keep the memories at bay.  Having lost his family in one fell swoop to the revolution - riddled with guilt that he survived while they didn't; he tries to move on with his life.

I loved these two characters met, the banter between them and the chemistry.  Bastian is sexy, witty and one hell of a charmer; he keeps Raeven on her toes!  Their story is filled with adventure, mystery and some very heart-wrenching scenes.  An amazing end to the Sons of the Revolution series.

One of the things I really enjoyed about this book as that while part of a series it can easily be read as a stand alone.  Would I recommend this to others - heck yes!  Will I read more by this author - most definitely!

  1. I loved this book, and I agree, it can be read alone, but it would probably be best as part o the series (I say probably because I have yet to read book 1 + 2, though I want to!). :)

    Enjoy!

Book Tour: Medusa A Love Story by Sasha Summers

Medusa A Love Story By Sasha Summers Blurb: It's said love can change a person. Medusa wasn't always a monster... Medusa is ruled by duty, to her Titan father and the Goddess Athena. She's no room for the tenderness her warrior guard, Ariston, stirs. When Olympus frees her from service, her heart leads her into the arms of the guard she loves... and curses her as the creature with serpent locks. Ariston goes to war with a full heart... and dreadful foreboding. He learns too late of the danger Medusa faces, alone, and a Persian blade sends him into the Underworld. But death, curses, nor the wrath of the Gods will keep him from returning to her. Poseidon will use Greece's war to get what he wants: Medusa. He does not care that she belongs to another. He does not care that she will be damned. He is a God, an Olympian, and she will be his. "This tragic and beautiful retelling of one of the world's oldest stories tackles the eternal battle between ...
