Synopsis:

Camilla can set her watch by her hunky rocket-scientist neighbour who jogs past her window each day. She relishes each glimpse of his shirtless abs, and is dying to see more. But it’s hard to connect with a man who doesn’t seem to know she exists…

Ivan feels at home in the lab, not in social situations. When he finally approaches his attractive neighbour, it’s not for a date—he wants tutoring in how to behave at an important fundraiser. Ivan doesn’t expect the chemistry between them to be quite so explosive, and is surprised when Cami actually accepts his proposal to embark on a series of “lessons”.

Cami soon discovers Ivan’s schedule isn’t the only thing he likes to be strict about—he needs to be charge in the bedroom as well. She’s shocked at how much she comes to enjoy her submissive side, but wonders if a real relationship is in the equation…

Warning:  If you’re going to read this book there are a few things you’ll need to have with you – a fan, a cold drink and maybe a cold bath?

For those of you who watch Big Bang Theory – Ivan may come across as someone you’ve met before.  Incredibly smart, sexy and a little aloof, Ivan is not comfortable in social settings.  He finds the comfort of his lab or home more to his liking.  With an important fundraiser looming on the horizon, he recruits his lovely next door neighbour Camilla to help him with social lessons.  Cami knows Ivan’s schedule like the back of her hand, not that she’s stalking him, but he is rather predictable the way he does things.

Cami has admired Ivan from afar for a while.  She wonders what’s under that geeky exterior!  When an opportunity arises, she hopes she can entice Ivan into more then friendship.  What Cami finds isn’t at all what she expected!

This book was a lot of fun, and boy was it sexy!  Ivan reminded me of Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory.. with a kinky side!  This book has some pretty explicit scenes and may not appeal to some readers.  For a quick, fun, sexy read this was perfect!

Will I recommend this book?  For fans of the Big Bang Theory and erotic romance, this is something you should check out.  I got a kick out of Ivan and Cami and their relationship.  Will I read more by this author?  Most definitely. I really enjoyed her writing style and the characters.  I hope she does more like this one!

Book Tour: Bring Me Back by Karen Booth

I’m Karen, a Midwestern girl transplanted in the South, raised on 80s music, Judy Blume, and the films of John Hughes. An early preoccupation with Rock ‘n’ Roll led me to spend my twenties working my way from intern to executive in the music industry. Much of my writing revolves around the world of backstage passes and band dynamics. My first full-length novel, “Bring Me Back”, is a story I had in my head for nearly eight years before my fingers hit the keyboard. Sleeping and eating quickly became a luxury, a plan I have since dubbed the Writer’s Diet. I channeled teenage memories of plastering my walls with posters to weave the tale of music journalist, Claire Abby, and the dreamy British rock-star crush of her youth, Christopher Penman. “Bring Me Back” is a work of women’s fiction, published by Turquoise Morning Press. When I’m not creating fictional musicians, I’m listening to everything from old-school Cheap Trick to Duran Duran to Superchunk with my kids, honing my Southern
